Adding dependent project

  1. Select Project > New... from the toolbar
  2. In New Project dialog box, click Create Blank Project button
  3. Open Model Explorer
  4. Right click on the background of Model Explorer and select Manage Dependent Project... from the pop-up menu
  5. Click Add button in the Manage Dependent Projects dialog box
  6. Select Library.vpp and click Open button
  7. Click Close button in the Manage Dependent Projects dialog box
  8. Unfold doc folder
  9. Select UML > Class Diagram from the toolbar
  10. Drag Document class out and drop it on the diagram
  11. Press Document class's resource icon Generalization -> Class and drag it out
  12. Name it as HTMLDocument
  13. Press Document class's resource icon Generalization -> Class and drag it out
  14. Name it as PDFDocument

Indicating dependent shape

  1. Click Show Model Element Indicators button on the top of diagram toolbar

Viewing diagrams created in dependent project

  1. Explore Domain Model
  2. Double click on it to open it
