Creating a mind map

  1. Right click Mind Mapping Diagram to create a new mind mapping diagram
  2. Name the default node as "The Eastern Conference"
  3. Create idea around central idea by pressing resource icon branch->node

Styling branches

  1. Insert "Email" and "Telephone" icons in Contacts node by clicking its resource icon Formats and selecting Icons...
  2. Insert "Smile" icon in Site seeing node
  3. Select the whole branch of Speech node and colorize it into warm yellow to separate different ideas easily

Relating nodes with link

  1. Press resource icon To Link-> Node of Room node and link it up with Peter(Event Coordinator)node
  2. Drag to Peter(Event Coordinator)node in order to link them together

Elaborating idea with separate diagrams

  1. Right click on Workgroup node and select Open Specification... from the pop-up menu
  2. In Node Specification dialog box, add a new diagram under References tab
  3. Right click the newly created activity diagram and select Open... from the pop-up menu
  4. Complete a diagram in the activity diagram

Annotating mind map with freehand shapes

  1. Select Pencil from the diagram toolbar and circle both Site seeing node and Leaving node on the diagram
  2. Select Word Art from the diagram toolbar and make annotation on the diagram
