Documenting requirements

  1. Click Requirement on the diagram toolbar and drag it on the diagram pane
  2. Name the newly created requirement as "Support HTML Reply"
  3. Double click Text column and type "Allow user to enable or disable HTML"
  4. Select "Test" in vertifyMethod column while "Medium" in risk column
  5. Point on Support HTML Reply requirement, select "Derive -> Requirement" resource and drag it next to Support HTML Reply requirement
  6. Name the newly created requirement as "Disallow Javascript"
  7. Select "Functional" in kind column, "Test" in verifyMethod column and "Low" in risk column

Documenting Test Cases

  1. Point on Multilingual Support requirement, select "Verify <- Test Case" resource and drag it under Multilingual Support requirement
  2. Name the newly created requirement as "Able to display unicode characters"

The tabular view

  1. Right click on the space and select Switch to Tabular View
  2. Select "Low" in the Support hotkey row

Customize requirement type

  1. Select Tools> Configure Requirements... from the main menu
  2. Click Add button to create requirement 2, type the name as "debug" and then click Add button to select "Text Attribute" to create an attribute
  3. Name the newly created attribute as "debug code"
  4. Click...button in Fill to select color
  5. Select 255, 255, 192 color in the pop-up Format Fill dialog box and click OK to confirm
  6. Click OK in Configure Requirement dialog box to finish
  7. Select Debug on the diagram pane and drag it on the diagram pane
  8. Name the newly created debug as "Display user IP"
  9. Type "DC-01" in debug code
