Creating related elements using resource-centric interface

  1. Press UserGroup class's resource icon Association -> class and drag it out
  2. Name the newly created class as User
  3. Press User class's resource icon Composition -> Class and drag it out
  4. Name the newly created class as UserInfo
  5. Press User class's resource icon Generalization -> Class and drag it out
  6. Name it as Student
  7. Press User class's resource icon Generalization -> Class and drag it out
  8. Name it as Teacher
  9. Press UserGroup class's resource icon Self-Association -> Class

Relating elements by resource-centric

  1. Press UserScreen class's resource icon Dependency -> Class and drag it to User class
  2. Press Student class's resource icon Generalization -> Class and drag it to GraduatedStudent class

Group resource

  1. Select a range of classes by dragging with the mouse diagonally
  2. Click resource icon Group and move those selected classes together

Creating structure with resource-centric interface

  1. Press Verify Identity action's resource icon Create Branch with Decision Node in an activity diagram
  2. Name one of the newly created actions as Notify for Failure
  3. Right click on the connector which links to Notify for Failure action to select Open Specification... from the pop-up menu
  4. Type Failed under Guard in Control Flow Specification dialog box

Quick connect

  1. Move the mouse on Page Dispatcher lifeline and press its resource icon Create Message -> LifeLine
  2. Select StudentInformationPage lifeline from the pop-up menu

Generic resource

  1. Press Publish task's resource icon Generic Resource and drag it out
  2. Select End Event > End Event from the pop-up menu
